The loss of the Park-and-Ride/Transfer Center at Arborland was a huge blow. Something along Washtenaw Ave. is badly needed - even a parking lof with some spaces reserved for riders. The huge lot next to the former Farmer Jack (next to K-Mart) would be one good option, as it has been empty for a long time. To add insult to injury, somone posted "No Parking" signs on the bus shelter next to this lot to dissuade riders from parking there (so that weeds can grow undisturbed...)
Are there any plans to create a park-and-ride or transfer center on Washtenaw, between Hewitt and Platt? It is a very populart route.

I think a county wide transit system is a good idea. Carpenter and Willis would be a nice location for parking and a bus stop.

I'd like to see a park and ride stop location at the intersection of Rt. 12 and Moon/State St. heading up into AA. Having bus service in Saline going to AA would be very welcome. Parking in AA is problematic and it would be easier to catch a bus if the bus comes often enough to make it convenient.

The Red Cross has a huge parking lot, offer a lot of classes, and located on a bus route. Has AATA contacted them about a park and ride lot there?
