899 Spring St 11 months 2 weeks agothe zigzag of sherman creates some danger here, especially when someone wants to turn left onto spring. particularly going northbound, it's difficult to see oncoming cars around the building. also, sometimes there is enough space for other cars to swerve around a person waiting to turn left, which any cars on the other side wanting to turn left might not realize. i think changing this to a 4-way stop or roundabout or other improvements would benefit everyone.

5 months 2 weeks agoThis is a crosswalk for Franke Park students. Traffic on Wells is notorious for disregarding school buses, let alone the crossing guard. This intersection ought to have a light or be a three-way stop. This would also help to regulate speeding issues on this stretch of Wells, which is only supposed to be 30. Our children deserve safe crossings home.

1329 W State Blvd 11 months 2 weeks agoThe parking lot here where the mexican restaurant used to be is prime real estate for a new development. In the meantime it's pretty ugly empty space. If nothing wants to move in, maybe we could reclaim its beauty with some trees and picnic tables or something

5 months 2 weeks agoThe Pufferbelly at the dead end of Elmer has an exit onto Elmer, which brings significant pedestrian traffic to this intersection as people go between the neighborhood and the trail. The sidewalks along Elmer on either side of Wells are incomplete. There are currently no sidewalks in this section of Wells, although they are due to be installed on the west side only. This intersection even regularly has deer crossing it! It would be great to have a pedestrian-activated stop or some sort of significant crossing for pedestrians at this intersection. It shouldn't have to take an accident to improve this space.

5 months 2 weeks agoThe current sidewalk on the east side of Wells ends here. The sidewalk that is due to be constructed will be on the west side of Wells here with the expectation that pedestrians would need to cross at this intersection to be able to continue on the sidewalk. 1. There needs to be a complete sidewalk the entire length of the road on both sides. 2. If the current plan is going to be piecemeal, pedestrians deserve a safe crossing here.
