S Anthony Blvd 7 months 3 weeks agothe Dam needs enough of the debris cleared to stop making it a breeding ground for potentially disease spreading mosquitos. An island has formed and the stagnant water smells horrible in the summer and mosquitos are bad south of Lake. Also the building part could be better taken care of to not look so neglected, it's a cool part of our neighborhood.

1910 Cody Ave 8 months agoA partial historic signage was implemented on North Anthony a few years ago. The section CLOSER to the bridge should be also as many of these homes are older since they are closer to the Railroad tracks. Sears Craftsman home kits came in on the RR and were dropped on lots to be completed. Many of these homes S of Lake were built that way.

536 E State Blvd 9 months 3 weeks agoThe stretch between Parnell & Spy Run prompts to ask, "What HAPPENED?" It's discouraging to witness the cumulative effect of not only years of neglect, but DECADES. The block to the north looks like an empty lot with power lines filled in with grass or gravel. Its desolate and awkward. Standard & conifer trees in Northside HS front, a few west of El Azteca and along the street closer to Premier Auto would create beauty and a welcoming presence representing the area properly. Kelley Chevrolet takes care of their current I-69 dealership, but apparently seems to be ok with--at least chose--to neglect property and a building with their name on it. It can be redeveloped into a 2-story middle class or higher apartment suites w/charming balconies for those with active lifestyles who would like to live downtown but cant afford the higher rent or congestion/crowd of downtown. And/or another portion of it can be repurposed for FWCS(?)Trades etc. The shops with Rage Room etc. brings down the lift of the neighborhood and can be a potential hub of activity for passerbys or neighbors heading in or out (Fuel station in place of the shops out back, keep the front main charming chalet building as a convenient mart/coffee shop etc.) Tons of potential to raise the neighborhood to another level of those who appreciate the historical character of the beautiful homes in the area, new buyer or long time home owner to further reinforce and give confidence to those who wish to invest in and keep their families in the area for many years to come. The bridge & State/Crescent intersection needs aesthetic work as well. -Thank You for your consideration!

1433 E State Blvd 10 months 2 weeks agoGreat opportunity for East State Village to be developed and vibrant. Lack of safe sidewalks, biking paths, the fast pace of traffic, lack of parking, and lack of space for outdoor seating make this development unlikely and difficult. Decreasing to 2 or 3 lanes instead of 4 could create better walking, biking, parking, and development potential.

Reducing the number of lanes seems like it would back traffic up making it even longer to drive down State Blvd. Widening the lanes would be appreciated though.

1804 Cody Ave 8 months agoNA has become a traffic concern *speed limit not adhered to and no tickets issued *vehicles are passing by crossing the solid white lines of the parking space *no "Street Calming" was put into effect S of Lake other than the solid white lines *Permanent bumpouts are needed at the Cody/NA intersection which isn't EVEN a crossing right now. It is a bus stop on both sides of NA, crossing to get to the basketball court and River Greenway, and a place which this area crosses to go to Lakeside Park and schools on that side of NA TOO MANY accidents are happening in this 9 blocks which have no stops because of speed and passing illegally.

1470 Saint Joseph Blvd 10 months agoThe walls between the Greenway and St. Josesph Blvd. at the Tennessee intersection (not the entire length of wall) should be reduced in height. Anyone walking or on a bike approaching the stoplight/intersection cannot be seen by cars traveling on St. Joseph.

Bob Arnold Dr 8 months 3 weeks agoNorthside Park could use a paved walking path that goes through/around the whole park like Kreger Park and many others have. The whole northeast section of the park is just a field that you either walk through grass or along streets to get to.

7418 S Anthony Blvd 7 months 2 weeks agoSidewalks! It's insane the amount of residents in this area without access to sidewalk ! Have family who lives in a apt. Complex near here and every winter you see people forced to walk through feet of snow. In that same regard, we need heated bus stops like they have in Minneapolis!

1314 Forest Ave 7 months 3 weeks agoDuring the school year the road is impassable with drop off and pick up traffic. Living here and getting out of a driveway in time to get to work is nearly impossible. If there were an emergency, no ambulance or fire truck would be able to get through.

1801 Cody Ave 8 months agoLooking to calm the section of N. Anthony south of Lake Ave. and before the Maumee dam. I am a renter in the area who has lived here for two years and have witnessed 5 accidents alone in that time period (involving neighbors and friends). Looking to install permanent bump outs and also invest in a radar speed sign to collect data and deter speeding.

1002 N Anthony Blvd 7 months 3 weeks agothe speed limit either needs to be enforced or lowered to calm traffic issues south of lake, most times it sounds and acts as a drag race between the light at lake and the train track. Crosswalk bump outs added like further north on lake, make sure parking/bike lane repainted often enough to see

1729 Lake Ave 10 months 2 weeks agoI live off north Anthony between lake and state with downtown becoming more prevalent the road is extremely busy I didn’t know if there were plans in the works for a downtown freeway (like a real one) to help with the increased traffic on all of these roads.

2247 Saint Joseph Blvd 8 months 4 weeks agoWonderful boulevards on St. Joseph Blvd. (Between E. State and Forest Ave.) that could use new and more ascetic street lighting, and more trees planted. It looks blighted and neglected by the city, thus bringing down the appeal of the neighborhood.

McKinnie Ave 4 months, 1 week agoIt seems this segment was the old McKinnie Ave before a new segment was added that lined up with McKinnie on west, so such a segment was not needed and was less useful since the old McKinnie only gave easy access to north on Anthony, so it was turned into a right lane flylane. Don't know if this segment was ever needed since new McKinnie Ave construction, but even if it was at time, it doesn't seem to make sense given expansions of other roads .

I think this space would be ideal for outdoor workout equipment since it's on the river Greenway and there's already a playground at Lakeside park

1005 N Anthony Blvd 7 months 3 weeks agoI would love to see this part of the greenway (south of lake) planted as a pollinator pathway for anyone using the greenway to enjoy and also support the wildlife that lives in our neighborhood. The city could stop having to mow it all the time and help the environment at the same time.

St Joe Pathway 10 months 2 weeks agoTremendous opportunity for walkable, street-facing, neighborhood-serving, mixed-use development. Encourage dense development with a combination of retail and multi-family housing. Allow less parking than what is typically required.
