    Hopefully this will not just be a road widening to include a walking/ bike lane. A separated sidewalk is so very much safer and useable than a wide shoulder for families in this community.

    We hope there can be allowances for trees to remain along this new stretch of pedestrian pathway, whether that means narrowing part of the pathway where needed, or curving around. Trees are as valuable to the pedestrians as the pathway itself for shade, beauty, enjoyment and health.
