2 years 6 months agoIn my opinion, this is one of the worst roads in the county. Other fixes over the years just don't seem to last. I am so glad to see that is is getting a full rehabilitation! I drive it EVERYDAY. I can't wait to see it when it's finished.

2 years 5 months agoa bike path DIVIDED from M15 would be a great addition if the road is to be widened in this project. A simple wide shoulder w/o a division from M15 would be too dangerous on this stretch for bicycling.

2 years 5 months agoWe hope there can be allowances for trees to remain along this new stretch of pedestrian pathway, whether that means narrowing part of the pathway where needed, or curving around. Trees are as valuable to the pedestrians as the pathway itself for shade, beauty, enjoyment and health.

2 years 5 months agoHopefully this will not just be a road widening to include a walking/ bike lane. A separated sidewalk is so very much safer and useable than a wide shoulder for families in this community.

In response to the question regarding work on M-15: we will be constructing 6 foot shoulders on both sides of the road for the drain project. This wouldn’t be a bike lane (which would be located within the travelway). We may be able to squeeze in 8’ shoulders for other areas along M-15 but we will need to be further along on design. I believe a press release will precede the project start date. Please let us know if you would like to be included in the project update list.
