6015 S State Rd 3 months 3 weeks agoThis intersection needs a roundabout because when traffic is bad, you can't pull out onto M 15. Way to many accidents and close calls.

4651 Thompson Rd 3 months 2 weeks agoThe curve on Linden Rd. just north of the intersection of Thompson and Linden roads and the angles of the roads at the intersection make it extremely difficult to see if traffic is coming when turning from Thompson Rd. onto Linden Rd. At busy times of the day traffic gets backed up on Thompson waiting to turn left onto Linden Rd. and cars pull out so far that it is difficult to see if traffic is coming from the south when making a right turn onto Linden Rd. from Thompson. Please consider putting a roundabout at this location. It would definitely make this a much safer intersection!

7763 E Bristol Rd 3 months 2 weeks agoI think Belsay and Irish Rds would be a great location for a single lane roundabout. Traffic there can get intense during student drop off at the local school and during rush hour. The area is flat with not much right near the intersection. This would greatly improve traffic flow.

4040 Lahring Rd 3 months 3 weeks agoA perfect candidate for a roundabout is the intersection of Linden and Thompson roads. Turns from southbound Linden to east bound Thompson while pulling a trailer are impossible because of the angle when vehicles on Thompson are pulled out to make a left turn

I hate roundabouts! I am so upset that you have already been putting them in. It's simple enough to stop at a traffic light and then continue driving when it's your turn. Roundabouts are confusing to many people and actually create anxiety in many drivers. I've seen them go into places where there were never traffic back ups, like the Dort highway ramp. This is not necessary and very frustrating.

Roundabouts in high traffic areas are useless if you can't merge with traffic. The ones I've been through are to small and traffic is to close together to merge and they the circle at to high a speed.. Don't say they have been used in Europe for yours. They seem to cover a city block there.

Grand Blanc rd and Fenton rd traffic flow and safety would be greatly improved by the addition of a roundabout. For the time being, create right hand turn lanes by stripping changes. Also turn the light to a 4 way stop at 9pm.

Please please please take some of this road money and teach the drivers how to transverse a roundabout. The amount of road rage generated by these roundabouts would be greatly reduced if drivers knew how they worked. Example: 1. You don't need to come to a complete stop before entering a roundabout, especially when there is no other cars in the roundabout. 2. While you have already stopped for the roundabout, you don't have to wait for the car that hasn't even reach the roundabout , to enter the roundabout and go passed you before you enter the roundabout. 3. The roundabout sign should read 'MERGE' not 'YIELD'. and yes, if someone behind you sitting at a roundabout is laying on their horn yelling for you to go, you are that person who does not know how to use a roundabout.

The gcmpc acts as if roundabouts are a given and it is a matter of where to put them. I don't know of anyone that likes roundabouts! Has a survey or a vote been conducted on whether residents want roundabouts at all? If not, it should be before any action is taken. Road repair is a much better use of funds.
