This is preposterous! Why should you knowingly disperse 2 lanes of southbound traffic onto 1 lane? You disservice your residents with this contrived attempt to force Hillsborough County roads to service Pasco County needs. Better to direct them to the Suncoast Parkway's southbound lanes. The Keystone Odessa Community Plan prohibits roads with more than 2 lane roads in the Odessa area of Hillsborough County.

Project ID 3045 Absolutely, positively, unequivocally NO! It is folly to funnel 4 lanes onto a mandated two lane road. The Hillsborough County Comprehensive Plan states that “Rural communities such as Lutz, Keystone, & Thonosassa will specially be addressed through community based planning efforts.” The Keystone-Odessa Community Plan, in effect since 2001, clearly states the rural lifestyle of our community roads be limited to two lanes. The Keystone-Odessa Community Plan clearly dictates that the rural nature of our community roads be limited to two lanes. This reduces traffic, lowers speeds, saves lives, reduces impacts of air and water pollution, ecosystem pollution and habitat degradation. The Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners has repeatedly reaffirmed both the intent of the HIllsborough Comprehensive Plan and the Keystone-Odessa Community Plan to preserve rural communities and restrict urban sprawl. Hillsborough County should not have to suffer the consequences of Pasco’s lack of vision.

Pasco County_2045 Long Range Transportation Plan Project ID 3045 NO! The project description of project #3045 is that of an “urban” four lane road to the Hillsborough county line. The roads in the Keystone-Odessa Community Plan area are designated as “rural” and are not to be degraded by urban design standards from high density traffic from outside of our community. The Suncoast/Veterans Highway was designated, designed and created specifically for this urban purpose. Use it.

4 laning Gunn to the Hillsborough County line is a waste of tax payers $$$. Gunn will never be 4 laned in HC/Keystone.
