2B: Culvert Underpass Alternative 2B is a culvert underpass that provides a trail beneath the FEC Railroad connecting North 2nd Street with Old Dixie Highway north of the existing retention pond. Due to geographical constraints, some modifications to the retention pond would be necessary with Alternative 2B. Design considerations would need to be made to mitigate flooding to ensure the underpass is always accessible.

2F: Avenue O Extension Alternative 2F extends the existing Avenue O roadway further eastward, intersecting with Old Dixie Highway, as well as crossing the FEC Railroad at-grade, before continuing to connect to the existing N 2nd St roadway near the retention pond. Alternative 2F proposes a new at-grade railroad crossing with enhanced safety crossing devices. Alternative 2F includes an at-grade trail crossing of the FEC Railroad and a new proposed signalized US-1 intersection at Avenue O.
